For lunchtime, there will be an anchor picnic, including anchovy and tzatziki (homemade), with a basket of vegetables and rosé wine. Then you will have the opportunity to sail in the Bay of Cannes towards the Pointe de l’Aiguille in Théoule-sur-Mer. I will share my sailing experience and you can participate in the boat maneuvers for adventure lovers. You can also swim in the crystal clear waters, discover the seabed with diving masks and enjoy this friendly sailboat. Swimming towels and diving masks will be included.

Our pétanque lessons are available every day, all year long. The tour last at least 2 hours. First we’ll teach you, only in English, the rules of the game along with a brief history of the sport. Then you’ll learn how to handle the boule, throw, shoot, score, and master the fine art of disputing a point. You’ll play competitive games of pétanque (with a glass of rosé in your hand, of course!). Your hosts will also have some homemade Pastis for sampling. In time, Jews were forced to live in districts known as “Carriére”, Provencal word for street, separated from Christians, and closed off with a chain and latter by a door. Space was limited and overcrowded on these narrow streets with tall buildings. Life was difficult until the French Revolution freed them and scattered their communities. Once in Valensole, get some free time to discover this Provencal village, before heading up to Lake of Sainte-Croix where you can enjoy the view over the Verdon canyon.
