The hike is demanding. The path is uneven and rocky, you have to watch your step. Samaria is a 16km (10 miles) downhill hike in forest and mountains, with a river flowing and organized resting places. Its impossible to get lost, you will hike in the bottom of the gorge with cliffs around. It takes 5 hours to cross it. Its something between Grand Canyon and Zion. Will depart at 7am and return at 9pm. After an hour driving we will reach the gorge entrance where I drop you off. Hike ends at Agia Roumeli, a tiny village, buy boat tickets for Sougia. At Sougia I will wait for you to drive you back.
