Full-Day Eco Adventure Tour in the Tambopata Jungle From the city of Puerto Maldonado, embark on a day of rustic activities. Walk across the hanging bridges while observing the treetops all the way to the final tower, where you’ll zip-line from one tree to another. After lunch and relaxing in hammocks, you will paddle along the Madre de Dios River, taking turns with other passengers, until you reach Monkey Island. There, you will walk along a trail to look for monkeys. Remember that they are wild animals, so it’s possible they will approach closely or you may only see them from a distance.
