The Mexican peninsula of Yucatan is known for the longest underwater cave system in the world with more than 6,000 cenotes. Explore amazing underwater world of the Angelita and Casa cenotes on this amazing 2 diving experience from Playa del Carmen! The Angelita cenote is one of the deepest on the peninsula (60m). At the beginning of the descent, it is noticed that sunlight penetrates downwards and widens the field of vision. One of the highest points is 27 meters away where a disturbing cloud of sulfate hangs. Underneath this cloud, it is total darkness. As you pass through this cloud of sulfur on which floats a small half-moon-shaped island with a few bare trees, you have the impression of jumping by parachute through the clouds. This cenote is cut directly through the mangrove swamp, which allows us to see this beautiful, bright and colorful habitat due to sunlight.

Easy and hassel free is how your first underwater scuba-diving experience will be in the beautiful Casa Cenote. This open to the ocean lagoon is surrounded by mangroves, and its crystal-clear water and sparkling light makes it a unique site – perfect for your first dive. You will first take a 30-minute class to understand the basic theory and safety of diving, this includes 15 mins of instruction and 15 minutes of practice on the surface before we immerse ourselves into the gorgeous waters of the Cenote and discover its majestic underwater world. Your professional certified scuba instructor will always be there to supervise you and guide you on this amazing experience. The scuba dive lasts between 30 to 40 minutes, and you can enjoy complimentary refreshments and snacks at any point.Optional: We can conduct a Second (2nd) Scuba Dive on the Ocean Reef for an additional fee.

We begin this tour by picking you up and then head on our ATV’ing or E-Biking or Scootering adventure from Tulum the to Casa Cenote. We will enjoy snorkeling and swimming in Casa Cenote, which is freshwater cenote with many fish and sea life as this cenote is directly open to the the open ocean. After these 2 dives, if you wish, you can start the Open Water Diver course very well because we will consider this dive as the beginning of the course. Open Water Diver is the first level of certification. This worldwide certificate allows you to dive up to 18 meters.

You will have an introductory course on the basics of diving and equipment knowledge. You will also do 2 dives in this cenote. Explore the beautiful natural caves hidden in the jungle and the Mayan flora and fauna. After these 2 dives, if you wish, you can start the Open Water Diver course very well because we will consider this dive as the beginning of the course. Open Water Diver is the first level of certification. This worldwide certificate allows you to dive up to 18 meters.

This day trip is for people who have been diving within the last year and have a certification of PADI Open Water or Above.  Casa Cenote: Step into these cool waters and you step into a world of vibrant life and color, beams of light dancing their way through overhanging mangroves striking upon the stunning oranges, blues and greens of Casa Cenote. Dos Ojos (Barbie Line): These cool, crystal waters offer an experience that sets this cenote aside from all others with stunning, blue light streaming down from the two ‘eyes’ of Dos Ojos into the large, decorated caverns below. Dos Ojos (Batcave): Swim amongst the most stunning formations and surface into a beautifully decorated, air-filled dome before continuing through the sun kissed waters of the Dos Ojos west eye.

We begin the tour with the pick-up at the hotel and head towards the XUNAN park, which is located 2 hours and 15 minutes from Cancun, south of Valladolid.
